Overview
Ronin Quest is the quietest game we have ever made — a meditative journey along fog-bound roads, where a lone traveler trades the sword for a walking staff and measures progress in breaths, not battles.
There is no fail state here. Trials of patience and balance unfold at walking pace across a hand-painted world of mist, still water, and distant bells.
Key Features
- A hand-painted fog world with four mood-tuned regions
- Breath-paced trials of balance, patience, and attention — never reflexes
- Waystone stories and a lantern network shared with other travelers
- An adaptive flute-and-rain score that follows your walking rhythm
- A journey mode plus a free-walk mode with no objectives at all
The Setting
The mist roads wind through bamboo groves, tea-house hamlets, and stone gardens half-lost to fog. Each region is tuned to a mood: grief, patience, gratitude, resolve.
Rest at waystone shrines to hear the road’s stories, and leave lanterns for travelers who walk it after you.
